Where's the camp?
The first shot is the "old" Camp Stinson property as seen from a canoe in the middle of the lake, summer 2003. That's Mt. Stinson in the background. The fire tower at the top was removed many years ago.
Of course, we all remember the "world famous" Stinson Lake Store. Home of penny candies like Fireballs, Red Licorice and anything else we could get a hold of while off the camp property.
This is a shot of the Camp Stinson waterfront as it exists today. The little screened in house in the background actually sits on the old basketball court. This photo really depicts how grown in the athletic field has become. All of the white birches seen here have grown since Abe and Maddy sold the property in 1974.
